Mason Shell is a lighting designer based in Birmingham, Alabama. His design work includes both concerts and regional theatre productions. His work on concerts includes YoYo Ma, Saint Motel, and Jessica Vosk. His work in theatre includes Hair, The Wolves, and It's Only Life.  He has also designed for the Irish dance tour A Taste of Ireland, and both the Alabama premieres of The Wolves and DNA. 

 

As a technician, he's toured with A Taste of Ireland, Paw Patrol Live, and Bat out of Hell. He has also worked at The Gouge Performing Arts Center, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, The Alliance Theatre, and the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center.
